Omega: Double scratch-resistant

For the new model Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal Limited Edition Omega has developed a new metal alloy: The consists of the brand with Liquidmetal named material from the metals zirconium, titanium, copper, nickel and beryllium, and is used for the scale in the ceramic bezel. The valuable material properties is one of the low melting point: The alloy is heated and pressed into the recesses of the bezel. Any surplus can be removed by reheating, and the surrounding ceramic mitschmilzt not. When the satin numbers and tick marks can happen to the surrounding parts of the bezel nothing, since the ceramic is harder still when the new alloy. In the Clock with the complex bezel Omega's caliber 2500 with the brand's own ticking, especially regular working Co-Axial escapement. The price for the new clock is not fixed yet.
